Look, up in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the Real Madrid superstars enjoying the spoils of an Emirates A380 flight while also being matched with some nifty football skills by the Emirates cabin crew.
Stars in the sky unite with Emirates
Emirates has launched an entertaining video featuring popular players from Real Madrid on board the iconic Emirates A380.
The video includes Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale, Marcelo, Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos, and Casemiro and shows the players discovering unlikely talent at 40,000ft.
No Oscars here, but…
The video begins with the players enjoying their A380 flight and the Emirates Cabin Crew looking after them on board. While there are certainly no Oscar winners on board this particular flight, it’s a hoot.
We see Ramos preparing himself in the First Class Shower Spa, Marcelo feeling emotional while watching a film on Emirates’ world renowned ice entertainment system, Kroos enjoying the comforts of the Business Class cabins and Bale and Ramos having a drink in the newly revamped OnBoard Lounge.
The players soon start to notice that the Emirates Cabin Crew are multi-skilled, as they show off their football footwork all while maintaining excellent service on board.
Fast-forward to game day, and you’ll see some new players have joined the Real Madrid team in the locker rooms, leaving Benzema astounded.
Great team effort #OneTeam
Light-hearted and funny, the video is part of the Emirates #OneTeam campaign, which highlights the similar values that Emirates and the teams that they sponsor share; teamwork, ambition, innovation and a passion for sports.
The #OneTeam campaign also includes a video released earlier this year with the players from PSG, which can be found here.
The video concepts were developed by Emirates’ inhouse team with Buzzman Dubai.
Renewed sponsorship with Arsenal
In other football news, Emirates and Arsenal Football Club recently announced a new sponsorship deal.
The sponsorship, the largest ever signed by the club and one of the biggest ever agreed in football, grants the airline a 5-year extension to their shirt partnership with the club until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
The new sponsorship agreement strengthens one of the most recognisable and respected partnerships in sport.
