Triple M’s hot breakfast teams from Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney are preparing to take Aussie radio to the Aloha state in October and broadcast shows at famous Hawaii destinations.
Hawaii Tourism Oceania, Outrigger Resorts and Jetstar have teamed up to take the cast of Triple M Radio’s Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne breakfast radio teams to broadcast live from Hawaii from October 9-13.
Triple M Sydney’s The Grill Team, Triple M Brisbane’s Marto, Ed & Robin, and Triple M Melbourne’s The Hot Breakfast (pictured above) will zip over to the South Pacific hotspot and get ready to soak up some sun and broadcast live for a week.
“Australians love Hawaii, and this partnership is a great way to fill Australia’s airwaves with Aloha, while showcasing the beauty and diversity of the Hawaiian Islands,” said Kerri Anderson, Australian Country Manager for Hawai’i Tourism Oceania (HTO), adding the partnership was the perfect opportunity to broadcast the spirit of Aloha across Australia’s Eastern seaboard.
“Triple M’s breakfast teams are great ambassadors of Aloha, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to Hawaii for what will no doubt be an unforgettable week of broadcast.”
Head of Promotions for the Triple M Network Janella Pash said the Triple M teams were thrilled about the partnership.
“Triple M will be involved in activities throughout the islands of Hawaii and broadcasting five live shows from Waikīkī,” she said.
Triple M will run holiday competitions in NSW, Victoria and Queensland in the lead up to the broadcast, allowing a group of lucky listeners the opportunity to join their favourite hosts in the land of Aloha.
The teams will visit a wide range of iconic attractions including Pearl Harbor, Hawaii Island’s active Kīlauea volcano, Haleakalā Crater on Maui, Kauai’s stunning Napali Coast and the world famous Waikiki Beach on Oahu.
